| Project Opportunity | Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) has a coffee project called Home Ground. This project sells organic, shade-grown Fair Trade coffee at neighborhood markets for six months of the year. Coffee is sold by formerly homeless men and women. They receive a living wage for their work. The purpose of the project is to 1) increase public awareness of the homeless coalition’s work, 2) show the connection between Fair Trade coffee and living wage employment, and 3) evaluate opportunities for selling coffee year round (evaluate new markets and develop marketing plan) |
